VIRTUAL WORKSHOP SERIES | April - June

text for good

Join Amanda Speer with Mission Generosity and Caroline Griffin with Marketer on a Mission for a workshop series to launch or grow your nonprofit's text messaging program—just in time to prime your supporters and maximize 2026 year-end fundraising.

about the workshops

This 3-part workshop series is designed to help nonprofits of all sizes confidently launch (or clean up) their SMS programs in time for year-end—guesswork removed. We’ll cover how to choose the right texting platform, tactics to ethically grow and re-engage your SMS list, and we'll map out a realistic text message calendar you can actually stick to, complete with a plug-and-play template for writing your texts.

You’ll learn from Amanda Speer, who brings deep, hands-on nonprofit SMS/MMS experience, alongside Caroline Griffin, with 12+ years in nonprofit digital marketing and fundraising strategy. We’ll run 3 workshops in April, May, and June, so you have multiple months to cultivate relationships with your supporters before the year-end season.

In the April workshop, you'll learn which SMS platform is right for your organization based on pricing, features, and CRM integration, and how to budget for both the platform fees and messages themselves.

APRIL WORKSHOP: PLATFORM SELECTION & BUDGETING

In the May workshop, you'll make a two-pronged plan to ethically collect new phone numbers + re-engage existing phone contacts, finally turning your dusty numbers into an active and growing revenue source.

MAY WORKSHOP: LIST BUILDING & CLEANUP

In the June workshop, you'll make a realistic SMS/MMS content calendar to implement July through January, following a proven cadence. You'll even write some messages for Amanda and Caroline to review.
